Now for Spring 2011 she has produced another amazing new collection of vibrant hand made, hand painted, super lightweight 'Space Age' jewellery entitled the 'Natural Collection'. Flexible, convex design bangle featuring a lime, blue, red floral design on a sunny buttercup yellow background.

Hazel Atkinson is a leading jewellery designer working from her studio in Nottingham. She exhibits in many leading galleries and has produced bespoke pieces for theatre, TV and film. Her latest collection, 'Natural', draws it's inspiration from the basic elements in nature; sky, sea, flora and fauna. Hazel prepares her own anodized aluminium, a super lightweight 'space age' material, using a exacting process that allows the surface of the metal to absorb certain pigments. She hand paints her colourful designs with permanent inks and specialist dyes, before boiling in water to seal the colour permanently.
